How does online trading work in Morocco?
In Morocco, only licensed brokerage firms can execute orders. Online platforms are therefore offered by these firms or by the banks that own them. Once your securities account is open, you use a website or app to follow prices and send buy and sell orders. Two benefits: lower fees than ordering in a branch, and full control over timing and price.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best online broker in Morocco?
There is no single best one. Someone who places a few large orders doesn’t have the same needs as someone who places many small ones. Compare minimum fees, custody fees and the app for your own use.
Are my shares safe if my broker goes bankrupt?
Shares are held through the central depository Maroclear and remain the investor’s property, separate from the broker’s assets.
